Stepping Stones Camps
If you are interested in learning new skills, facing new challenges, building new friendships, becoming more involved in community, developing self-awareness, experiencing leadership and having lots of fun, then a Stepping Stones Camp is for you. The camps are coordinated by Meander Valley Council who is committed to providing quality learning opportunities for young people.
Meander Valley Council Youth Activities
Meander Valley Council runs a wide variety of programs for young people 12 - 25 years to promote a sense of connection and wellbeing while building skills, leadership and citizenship. Activities are often run in partnership with the Westbury Community Health Centre and include outdoor recreation, cooking, music, art, self-awareness, sport, games, challenges, fun and learning .
Community Cars - Deloraine & Westbury
The purpose of the Community Cars service is to assist residents to travel to and from non-urgent medical appointments at locations such as Launceston or Devonport. Arts Deloraine is the local branch of Tasmanian Regional Arts. The branch was founded in 1985, is run by a volunteer committee of between 7 and 9 and has a membership of over 70 as well as several affiliated organisations.
